SnowRats Snowmobile Club is based in Hopewell Junction, NY and serves Dutchess, Westchester and Putnam Counties! SnowRats Snowmobile Club is a registered member of the New York State Snowmobile Association. The club was founded in 1987 by a small group of avid snowmobilers hoping to improve the sport of snowmobiling by influencing others to ride safe and respect the land they ride on. Today, our club has over 130 memberships.
Our mission is to promote lawful and safe practice of our sport no matter where you ride. We hope our dedication to the sport of snowmobiling influences others to act responsibly and enjoy this exhilarating sport!
Activities and Fun
We hold club dinners, a raffle, and numerous club rides throughout New York and beyond. The funds we raise help support many local charities, snowmobile clubs, and the trails you ride on. We try to have 2 big dinners a year (usually Christmas and Year End). Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of the month from September to November, and the first Tuesday of the month from December to May. We meet at Daddy O’s Restaurant, located at 3 Turner St, Hopewell Jct, NY 12533. Our meetings begin at 7:00 pm. Please come out and be an active member of your club!
